A36 3 Inch Structural Steel C Channel Section Low Carbon Steel Material Galvanized C Channel

Hot-dipped galvanized steel channels are highly suitable for most processing techniques. However, welding, torching, or abrasive sawing of galvanized steel is not advisable unless proper protective measures and sufficient ventilation are in place. These galvanized channels are made from A36 hot-rolled steel-also known as mild steel channels-that undergo a molten zinc coating process in accordance with ASTM A123 standards. A key identifying feature of hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) channels is their distinctive crystallization pattern, often referred to as "spangle," visible on the surface. Boasting strong corrosion resistance, they are an ideal choice for outdoor use or exposed environments. Typical applications include heating and cooling systems, walkways, ramps, structural support frameworks, trailers, and electrical protection enclosures.
